hampton-city-council-7

Monday, Hampton mail carrier Matt Johnson is scheduled to meet with the Hampton City Council during their workshop meeting to request a review and possible revision to the current definition of “vicious dogs” as outlined in the Hampton City Code.

Johnson was attacked by a dog in July while on route at a residence along 7th Ave SW and received 10 stitches as a result.

The council will discuss potential changes to the city’s building permit process, aiming to clarify requirements for residents, and will also review a proposed frisbee golf course change at East Park.

The Hampton City Council workshop meeting is Monday at 6:00 p.m. at city hall and will be available via Zoom and the city’s YouTube page.
