Hampton’s annual car show once again packed Bandshell Park on Sunday, capping off the first “Cruisin’ & BBQ’n Weekend” with another record turnout.
Organizers say 215 cars were registered, marking the third straight year the show has topped 200 entries. Vehicles ranged from antiques to muscle cars and specialty trucks, drawing enthusiasts from across the area. The park was filled with spectators enjoying the sunny late-August weather – a clear sky and 70 degrees – along with food vendors, kids’ activities and live music from The Whitesidewalls.
Organizer Jeff Spear says the show’s success comes from strong community support and a welcoming atmosphere for both car lovers and casual visitors.
