The Clarion Development Alliance (CDA) will be hosting a Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Back to School Bash on Wednesday. CDA Executive Director Sam Stumpf on some of the fun activities planned.
“Alot of our businesses will each provide and then host a game or activity. I know we have like a prize walk, which is like a cake walk. We have things like giant connect four coming in, yard games and just some of those activities. We’ll have a DJ so the kids can dance. We will also have a foam party,” says Stumpf. “Bring your kids out for a fun night. They can play games. They might win some prizes. They might get a little messy with the foam party. It’s just a fun time to help support the CGD School district.”
Stumpf on how attendees can give back to the school district.
“It’s just a way for the kids to get together. They celebrate a new year and then we don’t charge anybody to come and attend the event. We just ask that they make a donation. It’s just kind of a really good way to give back to those teachers or maybe for some of those students who can’t afford everything they need for the school year.”
The event is on Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the CGD Middle School sport court.
