The Iowa Department of Transportation is alerting drivers to construction changes on Interstate 35 in the Clear Lake area. Starting Tuesday Sept. 2, the entrance ramp to southbound Interstate 35 at U.S. 18 will be closed. A detour will be set up for those wanting to access southbound I-35 from U.S. 18. The entrance ramp and detour is anticipated to be in place until the end of October or early November.
Drivers are encouraged to follow the marked detour while the ramp is closed.
