Grundy Center City Council to Consider Taser Upgrades for Police Department Monday

The Grundy Center City Council Monday will consider a resolution, authorizing Mayor Paul Eberline to sign an agreement with Strand Associates for engineering services for the wastewater facility upgrades. 

The council will also act on a separate resolution, authorizing Mayor Eberline or Police Chief, James Natvig, to accept a bid with Axon Enterprises for taser upgrades for the police department. 

The Grundy Center City Council will also discuss an ordinance related to mobile food vendors and will consider authorizing the reimbursement of half of the training fees for eligible lifeguards. 

The meeting starts Monday at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.
