The Hampton City Council Monday will hold a workshop meeting and will review the final plan for improvements of the disc golf course at East Park. The new proposal from Steve Huling and Jeff Winters includes an expansion of the disc golf course from nine to 18 holes.

During the August 28th meeting, Huling stated the cost for nine new baskets is roughly $4,500, or $500 per basket. Total costs for the project will be reviewed Monday.

In other business, the Hampton City Council will meet with Franklin REC to discuss the lighted parade in November and lighting at Band Shell Park.

The workshop meeting is Monday at 6:00 p.m. at Hampton City Hall. The meeting is available through the city’s YouTube page.
