The Iowa Valley Community College District Board of Directors will meet Wednesday (9/10/25). The agenda includes recognition of Ellsworth’s Plant Services staff for their work updating classrooms and offices over the summer and welcoming new employees, including Head Wrestling Coach Diorian Coleman and Business and Marketing faculty member Justin Peters. Trustees will also hear a presentation on supporting international students from Enrollment Recruiting and International Student Specialist Megan Richtsmeier.
Action items include revisions to the district’s Voluntary Retirement Incentive Plan and several Iowa Jobs Training Agreements. Those agreements would provide workforce training for Ritchie Industries in Conrad, D & B Agro Systems in Hubbard, Hawkins Electrical Service in Marshalltown, and CO2 Refrigeration Systems, a newer business in Marshalltown.
