Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating a Floyd County man who failed to return to a work release facility over the weekend.
The Iowa Department of Corrections says 38-year-old Dean Larry Naeve did not report back to the Beje Clark Residential Center in Mason City as required on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Naeve had been serving time for a conviction of administering a harmful substance in Floyd County. He was admitted to the work release program on July 18.
Naeve is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 177 pounds.
The Iowa Department of Corrections is asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact local law enforcement.
