The Allison City Council met Monday night, Sept. 8, and approved a plan to add a new pickleball court at Wilder Park. The project will cost about $5,000, with half coming from the park’s budget and the other half from a memorial fund.
The council also voted to raise the rate for 35-gallon garbage containers to $19 a month, following a 2.62 percent increase from provider Jendro. Larger container rates will remain the same.
In other business items, members agreed to pay a plumbing bill tied to a meter installation and approved a $100 donation to Butler County Visions of Wellbeing.
