dumont-sign-2

The Dumont City Council will hold its regular meeting tonight (Thu). Several items are on the agenda, including a visit from Hampton-Dumont School District officials. Superintendent Tim Felderman, High School Principal Matt Trosky, and Middle School Principal Anthony Spradlin are scheduled to speak with the council.

Council members will also review a list of ongoing nuisance properties — with 14 specific addresses listed — and consider next steps for enforcement. A thank-you is also expected for J & C Grocery, recognizing the store’s years of service to the community.

Other agenda items include setting Trick-or-Treating hours, a rate increase request from Jendro Sanitation, and the first reading of an ordinance amending the city’s rules on dangerous animals.

The Dumont City Council meets tonight (Thu) at 7 p.m. at the Dumont EMS building.
