The Iowa Falls School Board met Monday (9/8/25) night in its new temporary location—the old high school library, now serving as a makeshift board room while renovations continue. Board members toured ongoing construction projects. The locker rooms and training room are nearly finished, with only minor items remaining. The new district offices are also nearing completion, with a move-in expected by November. The wrestling room is on track for a November 1st finish, and the new high school office is scheduled to be done by January 1st.
The Iowa Falls School Board also reviewed first-day enrollment numbers, showing served enrollment up by 9 students, though resident numbers dropped by 7. Financially, the board discussed a growing deficit in athletic accounts, citing rising costs and lower attendance as contributing factors.
