
Hampton-Dumont-CAL High School is gearing up for homecoming next week, with a full lineup of events for students and the community.
The homecoming court includes Queen candidates Natalie Birdsell, Emma Dietz, Alycia Martinez, and Jaslene Tevalan, and King candidates Brady Harr, Brody Strother, Ryder Strother, and Caden Woods. Students will get a chance to meet the candidates during an assembly on Friday, September 12 at 2:45 p.m.
Celebrations kick off Monday, September 15 with hallway decorating and a movie night. Tuesday brings After Shave at 6:30 and Powder Puff at 7:30. On Thursday, September 18, a community tailgate runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Friday, September 19 features the homecoming parade followed by the coronation at approximately 1:30 p.m., which RadioOnTheGo will broadcast live on 104.9 KLMJ. Later that evening, the Bulldogs take on the visiting Vinton-Shellsburg Vikings. The week concludes Saturday, September 20 with the homecoming dance.
