The Iowa Valley Community College District (IVCCD) Board of Directors is investing in workforce development through new training partnerships with area businesses. At its regular meeting on Wednesday (9/10/25), the Board approved four Iowa Jobs Training Agreements totaling more than $84,000.

Ritchie Industries in Conrad will receive over $27-thousand for welding, leadership, and safety training—their eighth contract with the district. D & B Agro Systems in Hubbard was awarded just over $20-thousand for safety and technical instruction, marking their eleventh agreement. Hawkins Electrical Service in Marshalltown will use just under $10-thousand for heart saver, electrical, and safety courses—their seventh partnership. CO2 Refrigeration Systems, a new Marshalltown-based company, will receive $27,250 for welding certification, robotic welding, CAD/CAM, and professional development training.

District officials say these agreements reflect IVCCD’s ongoing commitment to equipping local workers with industry-specific skills that help businesses grow.
