The Butler County Sheriff’s Office responded to a structure fire early Saturday morning.
The fire was reported around 1 a.m. in the 20000 block of 170th Street, about five miles north of Allison.
Butler County Sheriff Jason Johnson tells RadioOnTheGo News that round bales inside a hay hoop building ignited, starting the fire. The Allison and Clarksville fire departments, along with the Allison Ambulance, worked with the property owner to contain the blaze so that the bales could be removed from the structure.
No injuries were reported from the incident.
