The AGWSR volleyball team will play a crucial NICL-West match at East Marshall Tuesday, which’ll air on 104.9 KLMJ.
The Cougars (0-12, 0-1 NICL-W) will go for their first win after a slow start to the season. Since a 3-0 loss to #4 (2A) Grundy Center, they’ve had a whole week to prepare for this match. They’ll look to expand on their offense, of which senior Brylea Metzgar has been a focal point with a team-high 1.7 kills per set.
East Marshall (9-10, 0-2 NICL-W) will go for its first conference win, having been swept by both South Hardin and #10 (1A) Gladbrook-Reinbeck. Alivia Neuroth and Marisa Cahalan have provided a spark offensively as one of the division’s top hitting tandems.
The Cougars have won seven straight in the series. Coverage will start at 7:15 p.m., followed by the first serve at 7:30.
