
The Aplington City Council met in regular session September 10th.
During public comment, Aplington-Parkersburg Superintendent Travis Fleshner said the district will cover the cost of a land survey for the tennis courts.
Public Works Director Jeff Ridder gave an update on street repairs and received approval to finish the insulation and steel for the inside of the city’s cold storage building. Police Chief Matt Lind reported that new in-car computers have been ordered.
Library and ambulance updates were shared, and the council learned the city has now raised over $17,000 toward the $25,000 matching goal for the pool fund.
