The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows School Board will hold a special work session Wednesday (9/17/25) morning as the district begins planning for a new superintendent. At last week’s meeting, Superintendent Joe Nelson announced his resignation effective June 30, 2026. The board voted to hire Grundmeyer Leader Search to guide the search for his successor. On Wednesday, members will meet with consultant Trent Grundmeyer to begin outlining a strategy for the hiring process.
The work session is set for 8:30 a.m. at the district office in Clarion.
