Belmond-Klemme High School has scheduled a fun week of activities for students and the community leading up to Friday night’s homecoming football game. This year’s theme is There’s No Place Like Home.
The homecoming court includes Queen candidates Vanessa McVey, Clementine Sifert, Lila Swenson. King candidates include Leo Ertel, Griffin Paulsen, Callum Sifert. The homecoming parade will be Thursday at 6:00 p.m. There will be a jersey auction at 6:45 p.m. followed by the coronation ceremony at 7:15 p.m. at the high school in Belmond. Later that evening, there will be powder puff football at 7:45 p.m. at the field in Belmond.
Wednesday’s main activity will be a grade level serving competition from 1:30-2:00 p.m. and a boys only volleyball tournament from 2:00-3:30 p.m. at the high school.
On Friday, there will be team activities at the high school from 2:30-3:30 p.m. including musical chairs, hula hoop rock and more. Later that evening, the Broncos will host Lake Mills in the homecoming game. The week will conclude on Saturday with the homecoming dance.
