The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday to cover several items. On the agenda is a proclamation for the 2025 Healthiest State Annual Walk Day, and a review of budget amendment requests for fiscal year 2026. The board will also consider setting the date and time for a public hearing on an amendment to the current fiscal year budget.
Also up for discussion is a proposal for audit services for fiscal year 2026, 2027 and 2028, and whether to consolidate the board’s regular and special sessions during the week of November 10th.
In other business, the board will acknowledge the sheriff’s report for August, and the County Attorney’s new appointment of Butch Gruelke to the Civil Service Commission.
The meeting is Monday at 8:30 a.m. at the courthouse in Hampton and is available on the county’s YouTube page.
