Hampton City Council Workshop Set for September 22

The Hampton City Council will hold a workshop Monday, Sept. 22 in the council chambers at City Hall.

The workshop will cover several discussion items, including a nuisance update, a request from Jennifer Gruelke for council permission to keep poultry at 1000 4th Street SE, and a review of the city’s dog registration process. Council members will also consider ideas for a raffle and the possible waiver of registration fees.

Other items on the agenda include a review of the city’s 28E agreement with Franklin County for the brush site, discussion of the Image of Pride program, parking restrictions on the 300 block of 3rd Avenue SE, and possible amendments to private property parking regulations. The council will also review proposed replacements for utility pole Christmas decorations.

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
