The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Community School Board of Directors held a work session Wednesday morning to move forward with plans to hire the district’s next superintendent.
Board members met with consultant Trent Grundmeyer of Grundmeyer Leader Search to establish a hiring timeline. Surveys will be sent to staff, parents and community members beginning Friday, Sept. 19, to gather input on the qualities they want in the district’s next leader.
Applications for the superintendent position will be accepted from Sept. 19 through Oct. 12. The board will review submissions and select finalists, with interviews scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 30.
