North Butler High School crowned senior Brody Wangsness as king and senior Amelia Thompson as queen during a community homecoming pep rally in the old high school gym on Sunday evening.
Also recognized on this year’s homecoming court were King candidates Dillon Eberline, Ryland Pitzenberger, Jax Thorne and Brennan Steere. Queen candidates included Laney Brinkman, Langley Junker, Kylie Knoll and Colby Wix.
The pep rally featured fall sports team introductions followed by senior games. This year’s theme is “Welcome to the Jungle”. A fun week of festivities will lead up to the homecoming football game where the Bearcats will host AGWSR on Friday night.
