
The Hampton City Council will meet in regular session Thursday, Sept. 25 at City Hall.
On the agenda, the council will hear a report on water treatment plant improvements, including a $1,995 pay estimate from Henkel Construction, and consider updates to the Image of Pride brochure.
Council members are expected to take action on several measures, including a resolution placing a 12-month moratorium on dog license fees, a resolution establishing a joint brush burn site with Franklin County, and an ordinance adding new no-parking zones on 3rd Avenue SE and 3rd Street SW.
Additionally, Mayor Birdsall is expected to issue a proclamation recognizing Oct. 1 as the 2025 Healthiest State Annual Walk Day.
