Totals from this year’s Franklin County Relay for Life are still being tallied. As of Wednesday afternoon, over $64,700 has been raised with possible pledges still to come in.
A wrap up meeting on this year’s relay will be held Tuesday, October 7th at 805 Pizza and Chicken in Hampton. Lisa Rodriguez, the Event Chair of the Relay for Life of Franklin County, says in a press release they would like to see as many people as possible at the meeting where they will discuss the event, what did and didn’t go well at this year’s relay and whether Franklin County will host another Relay for Life event or try something different in 2026.
The meeting is Tuesday, October 7th at 5:30 p.m. at 805 Pizza and Chicken. Those who plan to attend are asked to RSVP by October 1st to Lisa Rodriguez at 641-512-9049.
