Shannon Latham, a Republican state representative from Sheffield, has been named executive director of the Iowa FFA Foundation.
Latham brings more than 30 years of experience in business and government to the role. She most recently served as vice president and co-owner of Latham Quality Inc. and has represented Iowa House District 55 since 2021. The district includes Franklin and Hamilton counties and portions of Story and Wright counties.
In the Legislature, Latham serves as chair of the House Economic Development Budget Subcommittee.
In a Facebook post, Latham said that as executive director of the Iowa FFA Foundation, she will continue to champion agricultural literacy, youth leadership and rural vitality.
