A barn fire was reported Sunday evening in the 800 block of Nettle Avenue in rural Hampton. The call came in just shortly after 7 p.m.
The Grant-Lee Bradford Fire Department responded and requested mutual aid from the Hampton Fire Department to haul water to the scene. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office and Franklin General Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
Details on the extent of damage have not been released at this time.
