Keep Iowa Beautiful is once again inviting photographers — both seasoned professionals and first-time shutterbugs — to showcase the beauty of the Hawkeye State through its annual photography contest.
With more than $2,000 in cash prizes available, the contest offers Iowans a creative way to share what makes their communities and landscapes special.
Entries are open now through Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. Participants may submit photos in as many of the six categories as they choose: Iowa Landscape, Iowa Water, Iowa Cities, Iowans in Action, Iowa Wildlife and Hometown Pride.
New this year is a Youth Winner category. Students in grades K through 12 are eligible for a special youth award, in addition to competing in the main contest categories.
