The Dike-New Hartford doubles pair of Addy Joslin/Lauren Muller was eliminated in the first day of competition at the IGHSAU Girls Tennis 1A Doubles Tournament in Iowa City Wednesday.
They fell 2-0 in the first round to Abby Hietbrink/Addison Namminga of Pella. Bouncing back, they earned a 2-0 win over Stella Britton/Carley Rooney of Sergeant Bluff-Luton. Needing a win to advance to Thursday’s consolation semifinals, they fell 2-0 to Kaylee Kuehl/Livi Schneider of Boone to finish their tournament run.
The Wolverines will continue their season as a team at the Class 1A team state tournament against Spencer Monday in Pella.
