Iowa Drivers See Relief at Pump as Prices Fall

Drivers across Iowa are seeing some relief at the pump. AAA reports the price of regular unleaded gasoline fell five cents this week, averaging $2.86 per gallon statewide, 13 cents lower than a year ago.

Diesel prices in Iowa remain steady at $3.50 per gallon, about 21 cents below the national average of $3.71.

In Hampton, GasBuddy reports local stations are currently posting regular unleaded at about $2.99 a gallon, slightly above the statewide average but still below national prices.
