The Aplington City Council will meet in regular session Wednesday and will hold a public hearing regarding an amendment to a resolution on ambulance rates and mileage.
The council will also review an ordinance regarding the chapter on mayor’s compensation. Aplington’s code of ordinances states “effective January 1st, 2020, the salary of the Mayor shall be $3500.000 annually, payable monthly of $291.66.”
The Aplington City Council will also review Butler County REC electrical rates and will review September’s financial report.
The Aplington City Council meets Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. at city hall.
