The Butler County Conservation Board will host a fall river paddle Saturday.
Attendees can enjoy a morning on the Shell Rock River, and see the fall colors during the ride. The route will start at Heery Woods State Park in Clarksville and will make its way to the Shell Rock park, if weather and water conditions allow. This will be about a nine mile route.
The conservation board will provide kayaks, life jackets and paddles for those that need them and all participants must register prior to the event, as space is limited.
The paddle will begin at 9:00 a.m. Saturday and participants will be in charge of their own carpooling for the event.
