The Ackley City Council will meet Wednesday evening to discuss several important community updates. The council will review progress on ongoing city building improvements, including upgrades to the ambulance building and City Hall basement. Street repair projects and storm sewer replacements are also set for discussion.
Council members will consider legal action related to nuisance property violations and review a settlement agreement regarding the city’s splash pad. Bids for Depot roof repairs and ash tree removal will be evaluated. In addition, the council will discuss plans for a new ADA-compliant trail ramp on Franklin Street and approve several annual financial reports.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the Ackley Council Chambers and is open to the public.
