The Clarksville City Council met in regular session Monday and approved the agenda and consent items, including September financial reports and claims.

Resident Chris White brought forward concerns about nuisance properties and campers in his neighborhood. Mayor Jerald Heuer said the police department would look into it.

The council discussed adding yield signs at certain intersections and may reconvene the sign committee for further review.

Butler County Engineer John Riherd shared plans to build three new sheds in the county including one in Clarksville. The other two will be built in Kesley and Bristow. These would be centralized locations to store equipment. The goal is to start construction by spring of 2026.

The council approved a street closure and park use for the October 25th fall craft show, and the final reading of a water rate ordinance.

Also approved Monday, a pay raise for Maintenance Assistant Hunter Fasse upon completion of his CDL, and a tree removal on North Elizabeth Street.
