
The Franklin County Board of Supervisors will meet Monday at the courthouse in Hampton, with several items on the agenda.
Supervisors will consider a joint agreement with the city of Hampton for a shared brush burn site. The site opened October 1st and is located south of the Hampton Municipal Airport at 1236 Olive Ave.
The board will review a utility permit for Alliant Energy to install underground infrastructure, connecting a substation to a battery storage site.
Department updates are scheduled from Public Health, the Assessor, and the Secondary Roads Engineer. At 10:15, the board will consider an asset sale and service agreement with Franklin General Hospital as part of the public health and home care transition.
Other business includes property tax credit approvals, setting a snow removal bid opening and moving forward on courthouse repairs.
