The IGHSAU has announced regional postseason volleyball brackets.
In 1A Region 5, North Butler will host Tripoli for a first round match, and Clarksville will be at Rockford. AGWSR will host Collins-Maxwell for a first round match in 1A Region 8.
West Fork will travel to Belmond-Klemme for the first round in 2A Region 1. The winner will play a quarterfinal at #1 (2A) Denver.
#2 (2A) Dike-New Hartford is the top seed in 2A Region 2. They’ll host a quarterfinal against either South Central Calhoun or Panorama. In the opposite quarterfinal, South Hardin will host South Hamilton.
#4 (2A) Grundy Center is the top seed in 2A Region 4. They’ll host a quarterfinal against either Madrid or Colfax-Mingo.
#9 (2A) Aplington-Parkersburg is the 2-seed in 2A Region 7. They’ll host a quarterfinal against either Clarion-Goldfield-Dows or Alta-Aurelia.
In 3A Region 5, Hampton-Dumont-CAL will play a quarterfinal at #12 (3A) Roland-Story. In the same bracket, Iowa Falls-Alden will travel to New Hampton for a quarterfinal.
The postseason will begin Monday, October 20.
