The Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Community School Board will meet in closed session Friday, Oct. 17, as part of the district’s ongoing superintendent search.
The session is scheduled at the CGD District Office in Clarion. According to the agenda, board members will review the candidate pool to evaluate individuals being considered for employment.
The search process began following Superintendent Joe Nelson’s resignation, which the board accepted in September. His resignation takes effect June 30, 2026.
The closed session will begin at 8:30 a.m.
