The #9 (2A) Aplington-Parkersburg volleyball team will host South Hardin for a North Iowa Cedar League crossover match Tuesday, which’ll air on 99 The Wave and RadioOnTheGo’s YouTube channel. It’ll be the regular season finale for both teams.
The Falcons (24-10) are coming off a 3-1 outing at Saturday’s tournament at Hampton-Dumont-CAL, where the only loss came against #9 (1A) Ankeny Christian. That day, senior middle hitter Zoey Uhlenhopp reached a career milestone of 500 kills.
South Hardin (11-18) has lost three straight, including a 2-0 loss to the Falcons in the final consolation match of the NICL Tournament on Thursday. Guaranteed to finish under .500 for the first time since 2018, they’ll look to pick up momentum as they prepare for next week’s postseason.
