Wednesday just before 4:30 p.m. the Hardin County Sheriff’s Department was called out on the report of a two-vehicle accident along Isabella Street on the north side of Radcliffe.
The Hardin County Sheriff’s Department says upon arrival, it was found that a 2024 Ford F-150 truck, driven by Nicholas Pudenz of Story City, was traveling northbound on Isabella Street and was preparing to turn left into a parking spot when he failed to see a southbound 2020 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by Joy Corbin of Jewell. Pudenz turned into Corbin’s vehicle, causing damage to the driver side and front-end damage to his truck.
The truck sustained an estimated $15,000 worth of damage while the Traverse received an estimated $10,000.
Both vehicles were able to be driven and were removed from the scene. Corbin was taken by private vehicle to a nearby hospital for treatment.
