Franklin County Supervisors Approve License and Donation to Food Pantry

The Franklin County Board of Supervisors met Monday, Oct. 20 for their regular session at the courthouse in Hampton.

During the meeting, the board approved the 2025 Weed Commissioners report and the 2026 County Weed Commissioner Certification form. Supervisors also approved an alcohol license for JJ’s Bar and Grill LLC.

Facilities Director Ryan Peterson was authorized to sign and approve any change orders related to the courthouse roof replacement project, up to $10,000 as deemed necessary.

Department updates were provided by Secondary Roads Engineer Jay Waddingham, Home Care Director Deb Jones, and IT Director Gabe Johanns.

The supervisors also agreed to donate $50 from their cellphone jar to the Franklin County Food Pantry.
