The Franklin County Family Focus Committee is inviting area residents to “Share the Warmth” by donating winter gear for local families in need.
Donations of new or gently used coats, hats, mittens, scarves, boots, snow pants, and other winter items for both children and adults are being accepted through Thursday, October 23rd.
Collection sites in Hampton include the ISU Extension Office, Center One, La Luz Centro Cultural, First Bank Hampton, First Security Bank, and United Bank & Trust. Donations are also being accepted in Latimer at Immanuel UCC Church, the Latimer Post Office, and the First Bank Hampton Latimer office, and in Coulter at the Public Library and Post Office.
The Share the Warmth event takes place this weekend, October 24th through the 26th.
