Frost Advisory in Effect for North-Central Iowa

dmx-1-2

A Frost Advisory is in effect this (Wednesday) morning for parts of north-central Iowa, including Franklin, Hardin, and Wright counties. The National Weather Service says temperatures dipped to around 32 degrees overnight, allowing the possibility of frost formation in areas like Hampton, Ackley, and Clarion.

In such conditions, sensitive outdoor vegetation may be damaged, and the advisory serves as a reminder for gardeners and farmers to protect late-season plants during these colder early mornings. This follows a somewhat blustery day yesterday (Tuesday) with a Wind Advisory that was previously in place allowed to expire last (Tuesday) night.
