Hampton Council to Consider Livestock Requests Thursday

The Hampton City Council will meet in regular session Thursday and will hold the third and final reading of an ordinance which proposes new no-parking zones along 3rd Avenue SE on the north and south side from 3rd Street SE to 4th Street SE and along 3rd Street SW on the east side from Central Ave West to 1st Avenue SW.

There are several items under new business for the council as they will consider three requests for livestock on property within city limits for Butch and Jennifer Gruelke at 1000 4th St. SE, Taylor and Sarah Kolb at 1620 140th St. and for Mary Rodriguez at 1013 4th St. SE.  

The Hampton City Council will also consider a request for street closures for the chamber’s Halloween Howl Saturday and will acknowledge receipt of the fiscal year 2025 street finance report. 

The meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at city hall and is available on the city’s YouTube page.
