A utility permit for ITC Midwest LLC was approved, allowing planned infrastructure replacement work to move forward. The board also renewed the county’s WageWorks HealthEquity plan for 2026, continuing management of employee flexible spending and dependent care accounts.

In personnel matters, supervisors approved a change of status for an employee in the Auditor’s Office following completion of advanced election administration certification. The board noted the update as part of its support for professional development within county departments.

Representatives from the Hardin County Community Endowment Foundation shared updates on the organization’s upcoming 20th anniversary celebration in November and plans for a National Philanthropy Day proclamation to be presented next week.

Supervisors also reminded residents that absentee and early voting are now open for the upcoming city and school elections across Hardin County.
