The Hampton Senior Center has received a $5,000 donation from First Bank Hampton and the A.M. and Helen L. Saylor Foundation to help support its ongoing programs and operations.
In a press release, First Bank Hampton says the center is a valued part of the community, offering local seniors a safe and welcoming place to gather for meals, entertainment, and social activities. First Bank Hampton President and CEO Tyler Heeren adds that the bank is proud to support the center and the important role it plays in the lives of area seniors. Heeren says the donation reflects the bank’s commitment to promoting social connection and recreation for older residents.
Staff at the Hampton Senior Center expressed their appreciation, saying the contribution will help maintain programs and keep the doors open for everyone who depends on its services.
