United Way of North Central Iowa has opened its Letters of Intent process for 2026 Community Impact Funding.

Local nonprofit organizations working to improve lives across North Iowa are invited to submit a Letter of Intent by Monday, December 1, at 5 p.m.

United Way’s Community Impact grants support local programs focused on education, health, and financial stability, helping individuals and families reach their full potential.

Following the LOI review, selected organizations will receive invitations to submit full grant applications during the second week of December. Final applications will be due February 28, 2026.

United Way CEO Jen Arends says the organization is proud to support nonprofits that drive measurable results in the community, adding that the funding helps ensure every child, family, and individual has the opportunity to thrive.
