Voters in Hampton will have more options when they head to the polls for the city/school elections. Last week, Lisa Hill announced a write-in campaign for the City Council At-Large seat, a seat that is currently held by Patrick Palmer.
Previously Palmer had chosen not to seek re-election, however, Palmer recently announced via his Facebook page that he is initiating a write-in vote for the Ward 3 seat. The Ward 3 seat is a two year term to fill a vacancy. The seat was being uncontested with Bill Holmstrom’s name appearing on the ballot. Holmstrom was appointed last March after the seat was vacated by Kevin Blanford in February.
The city/school election is Nov. 4.
