The Grundy Center City Council will hold its regular meeting Monday with several items on the agenda.
Council members are expected to consider awarding a BIG (Business Innovations Grant) Grant to David Brown, owner of Dave’s Heating & Cooling, for a planned double garage addition at 310 G Avenue.
The meeting will also include discussion and possible approval of a 2026 health insurance contract with Wellmark, as well as authorization of payment to Precision Lawn Care for ditch repairs along 235th Street.
City Clerk Kristy Sawyer may be authorized to sign a local consent agreement for the city’s participation in the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program. Other topics include an update on the EMS building project, preparing a help wanted ad for an open police officer position and approval to seek bids for a new police squad vehicle.
