Residents across North Iowa are invited to celebrate World Kindness Day with an evening centered on community, creativity, and giving back.
Gift of Giving/Wright Community Connections, in partnership with the North Iowa Food & Community Care Network, is hosting Neighbors Create: An Art & Community Showcase on Thursday, Nov. 13 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Dows Community Center.
The event will include appetizers prepared by local chefs, bakers, and food artisans using ingredients grown in the region. Live entertainment is also planned, with music, drama, readings, and artwork from Wright County and surrounding communities. North Iowa musician Will Barnett will perform during the event.
A silent auction and pie auction will help raise funds, and donations are still being accepted.
Tickets cost $30 per person, $50 per couple, and $12 for students, with presales available online. Proceeds will support the Holiday Gift Giving program and the Neighbor Relief Fund, which assists local families facing unexpected hardships.
