Fareway Stores, Incorporated will celebrate the grand opening of its new, relocated Fareway Meat & Grocery store in Eldora Monday evening. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for 5 p.m. at the new location, 1325 Edgington Avenue. Company and community leaders are scheduled to speak, including Fareway CEO Reynolds Cramer along with Eldora Mayor David Dunn. The event marks the official opening of the new store, which replaces the former Eldora Fareway location.
Fareway operates more than 140 stores across seven Midwestern states and is known for its full-service meat departments, farm-fresh produce, and to-your-car customer service. The company employs over 13,000 people and continues to grow as a family-owned Iowa-based grocery chain.
