Franklin REC has announced plans for the fifth annual Light Up the Night celebration, set for Saturday, Nov. 29, in downtown Hampton.
The community holiday tradition will once again feature festive activities, including visits with Santa, children’s crafts and games, and the popular lighted holiday parade. The event brings together families, friends and local organizations to help kick off the holiday season.
Franklin REC is encouraging groups, businesses and individuals interested in joining the lighted parade to call 641-456-2557 to sign up.
Light Up the Night Event Co-Planner Emily Rush says the celebration is all about community and holiday cheer, adding it’s “wonderful to see downtown Hampton come alive with holiday spirit.”
